DJ Irene at Circus Disco

For those of you that haven't checked Circus Disco out, YOU MUST!!! It's located in Hollywood, and the club is HUGE. The vibes are great, the ppl are great, and the music is bumpin'. There's three main rooms with electro/house, progressive, and hard trance. DJ Irene rocked the club, and she made people dance like I've never seen before. I also met HOOPLUR at Circus, and if you don't know who she is, you should YOUTUBE her. She makes hoola hooping the coolest thing in the world. She performs there every once in a while.
So if you're craving for a good time with some crazy people and of course some bumpin' music, Circus is the place!

Dane Styles presents CRUSH after hours (3/8/08 11p – 7a, Downtown LA)

Our first feature of the underground scene kicks off with the CRUSH after hours party hosted by Dane Styles who is a well-established event coordinator/promoter here in Southern Cal. Located in a low-key neighborhood in downtown LA, this event was well worth the price. Early special starts off @ $5 before 11:30 and $15 thereafter. This is an 18+ event, which reduces a lot of risk involved while putting together a party.

What really drew us to this event was the fact that CRUSH promised a versatile genre of electronica music. Whether you enjoy breaks, electro, deep and progressive house. You can sure to find it here on the spot. This isn’t your every weekend event as Dane only throws these once every 6 weeks or so, and the site of the venue is subject to change which leaves a lot of us wondering where the next throw down’s gonna be.

DJs that rocked the floors were DOWNnGOING (Leftside Productions), Nic Alvarado (InSoulWeTrust.com/crush), Darin Westcott (USDJ Service), George O’Connor (Panty Dropper/Prompt Digital/LAX), and Eddie B. (HAWT Music). Most of them play around the area and each DJs style of music has their own unique tweak to it. I mean, bottom line. The beats were insane~~!!!

Personally, our crew had a great time being there and enjoyed the underground scene. We highly suggest people to come here after they’re done with their normal nights in LA/Hollywood. The environment and the beat just takes you to another level. Plus, for $15 you can’t find a better after party than this. The next show down is in May with location TBA…..you know how that rolls. For more info about the next CRUSH after hours party visit www.myspace.com/crushnitelife or come back here to see what’s poppin off in the Electronica Dance Scene here in Southern Cal

Let the Parties Begin...

Hey thanks for checking out my spot here on bloggers. If you enjoy everything about the Electronica Dance Scene, then you should probably bookmark this page right now. Throughout the past couple years I have been obsessed with everything dance music has to offer. I love the music, the artists, the parties, the venues, and the people so much that I decided to start a web blog about it (and on MYSPACE.COM/6AMDISTURBANCE). Here are some of the interesting topics that will be featured on a weekly basis:

- Personal Reviews of Clubs, Music Fest (Small to Massive), Warehouse Parties (Underground to Public), and any event out there that’s related to Dance Music mainly from San Diego to LA (that means u too OC). And of course San Bernardino!!!

- Q&A/Interview session with DJs that rock the dance floors week in and week out. As well as interviews with some of the people that make these events happen. We gotta give respect for the crew!

- Weekly events around Southern Cal.

6AM Disturbance was inspired by the belief that THE MUSIC SHOULD NEVER STOP PLAYING. So sit down, relax, and let me take you thru a journey thru some of the greatest events you wish you didn’t miss or better yet inspire you to attend the next event. Just remember my friend, the party goes on with or with out you………I choose to go with it, What about you?
